Someone once said, “That in a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.” I couldn’t say it better.

My first memory of dogs is a blank scrapbook that I filled with dog pictures cut from my Mom’s Family Circle Magazines. Never did I imagine that years later I would be painting dogs.

Since my early teens I have been involved in the Dog Show World in British Columbia, Canada.  Dogs have always been my love.  Along with my passion for watercolor painting, the combination was inevitable. 

I graduated on an Arts Program but did not start painting

in watercolors until 2003.

My first dog painting was of my own Tri-Colored American Cocker Spaniel.  I knew then that this was exactly what I needed to do.

Each breed and each dog offers a new challenge. To capture a dog’s expression and see it come alive on paper is rewarding.

I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoyed painting them.
